Toshiba Announces Tough Notebook Satellite L630

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41JthnTSYnL._SL500_AA300_.jpgToshiba India announced expansion of its range of notebooks with Toshiba Satellite L630. Available in 13.3-inch model, the new offering is designed to function effectively under tough Indian conditions.

It sports an Intel Pentium Dual Core P6100, a 2.0GHz, 1066MHz FSB processor, and comes preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium OS. The notebook includes 2GB DDR3 1066MHz SDRAM, 64MB-763MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory and 250GB SATA drive.

Satellite L630 comes with 8x DVD-SuperMulti SATA optical drive, two USB 2.0 and one USB/e-SATA ports. Its 6-Cell Lithium Ion battery boasts of up to 4.6-hour battery life. Other features include WXGA HD Clear SuperView LED display, Web camera and 16-bit stereo support. 

“India is an important market for us. We have been addressing the problems and concerns of Indian users through our innovations. Toshiba Satellite L630 is one such initiative in that direction,” said Sivakumar N, General Manager, Personal Computer Division, Toshiba India.

The vendor has incorporated a series of innovative features in the product like wipeable keyboard, a no-gloss Dura-cross textured finish for the display cover and 3D Hard Drive Impact Sensor to protect the laptop from the unexpected jolt or shock. In addition, Toshiba has also incorporated the USB sleep-and-charge port feature, which allows the user to charge any portable electronics even when the laptop is turned off. 

Distributed by authorized resellers, Toshiba Satellite L630 is available at an MRP of `36,869 along with a 1-year limited warranty.
